About Ntros

Ntros started with an introduction.

The right attorney came through a friend. The right co-founder came through a professor. The right pro comes through people you already trust.

Why Ntros exists

One phone call did what every search couldn't.

The moment that started it.

It started with a data breach. Angelo got caught in the LastPass hack and needed a very specific kind of attorney to recover what was taken. He did what everyone does. Google, LinkedIn, hours of searching. The results were abysmal, and none of them were people he could trust with something that mattered.

So he called a friend, an attorney in downtown Cleveland, and showed him the problem. His friend said, “I've got two guys for you,” and sent their contacts on the spot. Specialists he already worked with and trusted. They did exactly what Angelo needed.

The right people existed the whole time. They were one relationship away, and no search could see that. That became the whole question behind Ntros. How do you replicate that phone call?

Even answering it took the same path. Angelo reached out to universities around Northeast Ohio to pressure-test the idea, which led to the chair of Kent State's computer science department, who introduced him to an AI professor, who made one more introduction, this time to a graduate student with a master's in AI, deep in PhD research on machine learning. That was Branson.

Ntros was founded the same way it works. Not through a search bar. Through a real person who knew the “right” person!

Branson had lived the other half of the same problem. His dad spent Branson's childhood selling cars at a local dealership, and most of his friends never knew. People all around them bought cars from strangers while someone they knew, and would much rather have supported, was right there.

The insight was never just about attorneys, or cars. For almost anything, the right professional is usually one introduction away. We started with home services because that's where trust costs the most. It's a stranger coming to your house, usually on a bad day, for work that's hard to judge. It's the one industry where asking someone you trust is already how everyone wants to hire. That's where we begin. It's not where it ends.

“Reviews can be faked and stars can be bought. A person putting their name behind someone they trust can't be. Your home is the most trusted asset you own, and who walks through its door should start with a human you know, not a rating you can't verify.”
