Most asked

A good place to start.

What is Ntros?
Ntros helps you find a pro the way you'd ask a neighbor — starting with what's going on, and pointing you to someone real.
Is Ntros a social network?
No. There's no feed, no followers, and no public browsing. The people you know only help you find services faster.
Can knowing someone move a weaker pro to the top?
No. A familiar person can make a result easier to understand, but the pro still has to be right for the job.
What if I don't know anyone there?
You can still find pros using the work, service area, availability, and other practical details. Knowing someone helps when it's there, but it isn't required.
Do I have to sync my contacts?
No. Checking contacts is optional. Search still works without it, and contacts are only used to reveal a familiar face when it's relevant.
Is Ntros available in my area?
Providers can join from anywhere. Homeowner access is rolling out city by city.

Product basics

How does Ntros decide what to show?
Ntros looks at the work, service area, availability, and other useful details about the pro. A familiar person can help explain an option, but the pro still needs to be right for the job.
Is Ntros free to use?
Yes. Searching, viewing results, and messaging pros is free for homeowners.

Friends and privacy

What does 'people you know' mean?
Ntros explains the actual relationship. Someone you know may work there, or may be able to introduce you to someone who does.
Can I request an introduction?
Yes. You ask them first, and they decide whether to help.
Will I see where people I know work?
Only when the person and business allow that relationship to be shown.
Will pros see my phone number?
No — you're in control. You choose what to share, and when.

For businesses

How do I add my business?
Create your business, or join an existing business through an invite. Then add your services, service area, and team.
Can we choose which team members appear?
Yes. The business can choose which team members appear, and people can control whether their business affiliation is visible.
How are team members represented in messaging?
Replies come from the business. Depending on the business settings, the homeowner may also see the name of the team member handling the conversation.
How do I stand out to homeowners?
Keep your services, service area, availability, and team information clear. Knowing someone can help, but your business should still stand on what it does well.
